Rukhsaar wanted to advance her career in HR, so she took on a CIPD Level 5 Diploma with us and never looked back! Learn more about her experience with us below.
I currently work as an HR Administrator in Alstom Transport UK which is my first steppingstone into my HR career.
As a recent student of ICS Learn, I have completed my Level 5 Diploma. Prior to starting the course, I didn't work in an HR role, so after shopping around and a lot of Google searching, I got into contact with a student advisor at ICS Learn.
The gentleman I spoke to was very endearing and friendly, as I didn't work in an HR role and had no HR qualifications I was looking to start the CIPD Level 3 qualification, however, the advisor suggested I started with Level 5 as I had a university degree.
This was possibly the best choice I made as it has helped me become more recognised academically and I was able to get my first HR role in Alstom within 2 months of starting my course.
I was a little skeptical of doing an online course as it meant I will need to work in my own time, the study plan provided at the start of my course enabled me to do this and supported me in managing my own time more effectively.
The process of the course was easy to follow and every tutor I had, Wendy Chippendale, Kathy Daniels, Stephen Littler and especially Keith Watson were super helpful, supportive and made themselves available to me whenever I required support.
The interest-free monthly payment plan offered was also great as it meant I could pay it off in smaller installments. I did have a requirement to extend my support period during the course which again was done quickly and simply over the phone with the help of the brilliant ICS Advisors.
Overall, my learning experience with ICS was a super positive one and I highly recommend them to anyone thinking to do a course at home, in their own time with the flexibility and support we need at the moment.
