CIPD Student Stories: Laura | CIPD Level 7 Review

After successfully completing a Level 5 CIPD course with us, Laura continued her HR journey and career progression by studying her CIPD Level 7 Diploma.
I started my first qualification with ICS Learn when I moved to the UK in 2015. I had already studied Human Resources and Employment Law in Spain, however I wanted to gain more knowledge in this country.
I was unsure about distance learning, but due to the number of hours I was working at the time I wasn’t available to attend classes.

You decide when and where you want to study, and you have access to the student community 24/7.
The webinars are really helpful; the tutors allow plenty of time for questions and they use good presentations. If you can’t join the webinars at the scheduled times they upload recordings, so you can watch them at any time.
Tutors can be contacted by email and they usually reply very quickly, I can say that 95% of the times I have emailed a tutor I have received a response within 1-4 hours if it was just a query, or 2-24 hours if I sent a formative assignment for reviewing.
The enrolment process for the CIPD exams is very easy. ICS Learn send a reminder by email and you can request an exam enrolment form which will be sent in the post usually on the same day.
The Student Services team are very helpful if you need to request any documents or letters, and for any general queries.
