CIPD Student Stories: Anika Parmar | CIPD Level 7 Review

After completing our CIPD Level 3 Diploma, Anika returned to study at CIPD Level 7 with us and progress her career in HR even further.

After successfully completing my Level 3 CIPD with ICS Learn, I really wanted to continue my personal development as well as within my career.

After taking on a managerial in-house recruitment role with the police force, I decided to pursue further studies and complete my Level 7 CIPD with ICS Learn again as my experience working with them previously worked really well!

Although I was slightly nervous about signing up for another course, you do get a lot of flexibility and this is definitely useful when you are working full time as well as having to travel for work.

They also made the process of signing up really easy!

Although I’m still in the process of completing my Level 7, I would highly recommend this to anyone who is thinking of doing the same and is serious about their career progression.

It’s definitely beneficial and has opened up a lot of doors for me, especially when the job market is so competitive!

Another reason why I would recommend this course with ICS Learn is how easy they have made online studying.

The online tutors have always been helpful, are very responsive and you can also connect with a network of students who are studying the same course.

You are also given the opportunity to take part in online webinars which are interactive and provides great guidance for assignments.

This definitely provides some reassurance that there are others who can provide assistance or simply bounce ideas off each other.

I have now moved on from the police force and work for Manpower Group Solutions, providing recruitment and marketing expertise to a variety of clients such as Jaguar Land Rover.

My future plans would be to complete my studies by the end of 2019 and to continue pursuing my career within Recruitment by taking on a more senior role such as a Recruitment Business Partner.
