CIPD Student Stories: Caroline Bishop | CIPD Level 5 Review

Caroline was looking to take her HR career to the next stage, so she decided to study an online CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources Management.

I am currently an HR Advisor and was looking for a course to help me progress to the next stage of my career. I was drawn to the CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources Management because of the content.

I knew that I needed a study platform that offered flexibility. The ICS online portal and tutor support has been perfect for this. I have found the tutors to be very helpful and promptly respond to any of my queries that crop up.

I have spoken to tutors as well and they have always made time for 121 help. The online classrooms are also great for offering an interactive environment.

My plan for the future is to keep on working within a HR environment, and within a team that is carrying out interesting work.

My course has helped to fill any knowledge gaps that I may have and has helped me to understand how my role and team fit in within the wider business. I am sure that this will be useful for any future challenges that HR will be facing!

I have been able to fit my studies around working and personal commitments. 2020 has been a unique year but has also offered the perfect opportunity to focus on my studies towards my CIPD.

I had my reservations about completing an online course, as my colleagues had studied towards their qualification in a classroom environment. I’m sure that there are benefits to both types of study but I personally found the flexibility of online working to be really beneficial.

The support staff are also easy to contact and offer a friendly and helpful service. Whether it’s a query regarding to the portal, or changing payment methods, they have always offered a quick service to resolve any issues.

I would recommend ICS learning as they are a great learning provider, are always helpful and offer flexible learning.
