I never really fancied further education, but when I left college I wasn’t ready for a job either.
I ultimately decided to go to university, but I still had no idea what I wanted to do with my life! I picked a degree that I thought was fun, however, I never really saw myself going into that field for work.
I decided to start off slow and join a business as a receptionist, and I soon found that I had a good relationship with many of my colleagues and found I really loved working with people.
In a short time, I moved on to join the L&D team in that same company. My passion for people grew stronger and I loved seeing people develop their careers and achieve their goals. At this point, I was longing for a role in the HR team but there were no vacancies.
I decided to leave the business to pursue a job in HR and was brought on with my current company as an HR administrator.
I loved it and approached the role with determination to progress higher.
The course is completely flexible, so I can work around my own timescales, and the Student Support team and tutors are always on hand to help.
The forums are useful to meet people in the same boat as you too, so you don’t feel like you are going it at it alone.
I could not recommend ICS Learn to a higher degree.
