Accountancy

I was working as an accounts support assistant for an international supermarket chain. After working for the company for a year, I decided to start my AAT qualification to open doors within the business.
My preferred method of study was during lunch breaks and after work. This then meant that I could keep my weekends free.
My reservations with online learning was that I would not be able to keep myself motivated and push myself to take the first exam. Retaining the knowledge was also a worry for me as I was still training within my job role. Working and studying in accounts helped me understand the modules better and I could put this to practice during my working day.
The course was set out in a very structured way, as the modules are easily accessible and broken down into sections. This helped me plan my studies as they were already broken down.
ICS provide an array of mock assessments and questions after each learning section. This helped me massively as I would be able to pin point any areas I need to revise.
I passed all exams first time within a year of starting the course. I would highly recommend ICS learn as the material and support is exceptional and studying online takes away any pressure of having to be stuck to a strict timetable.
I have now commenced my AAT Level 3 and am waiting to sit my first exam.
