ICS Learn Expands CMI Portfolio with New Level 3 Management Courses

We're pleased to announce the expansion of our Chartered Management Institute (CMI) portfolio with the launch of our new CMI Level 3 First Line Management and Leadership qualifications, including the CMI Level 3 Diploma tailored to the Middle East.

Whether they're preparing to step into management for the first time or already working as a team leader or first line manager, these online CMI courses give aspiring and developing managers more choice over how they study and progress.

A New Route into Management

Moving into management can bring a completely new set of responsibilities, from supporting a team and making decisions to responding to workplace challenges.

By introducing CMI Level 3 qualifications, ICS Learn can now support students earlier in their management journey, with a clear progression route to the higher-level management and leadership courses already available at CMI Levels 5 and 7.

Students can now choose from:

• CMI Level 3 First Line Management & Leadership Award, which provides a focused introduction to first line management
• CMI Level 3 First Line Management & Leadership Certificate, which offers a more in-depth qualification looking at topics like management of change or managing problems and decision making 
• CMI Level 3 First Line Management & Leadership Diploma, which is the most comprehensive option, with learners studying six or seven modules from a choice of ten – this gives the opportunity to focus on areas most relevant to their current role or future career, including inclusive working practices, health and safety, managing data and information, and monitoring quality to improve outcomes.

Bringing the CMI Level 3 Diploma to the Middle East

For students in the Middle East, the CMI Level 3 Diploma in First Line Management and Leadership looks a little different to the UK offering. Tailored for our Middle East audience, the Level 3 Diploma will be delivered through live, tutor-led online classes, offering a structured and interactive learning experience with direct access to expert tutors.

Middle East learners will study six mandatory modules:

•    Approaches to Managing and Leading People and Teams
•    Contributing to the Management of Change
•    Contributing to the Management of a Project
•    Managing Problems and Decision Making
•    Supporting the Delivery of Customer Service
•    Managing Data and Information
