A Level Student Stories: Joseph | A Level Maths

Joseph wanted to study Physics at university but, first, he had to gain his A Level in Mathematics. So, he chose online learning and wound up right where he wanted to be! 

In 2021/2022, I completed my AQA Mathematics A Level independently with the help of ICS Learn.

After ICS Learn helped me to ace my exams and get an A, I have progressed to study Physics at university!

I originally was unsure of the path I would take to my Maths A-Level (which I needed for my chosen university course) although in the end, since my college was unwilling to teach mathematics as an A Level, I chose ICS Learn to complete my course online and sit my exams at school in June of 2022.

When choosing the course provider for my subject, I was presented with many different choices of online courses, although ICS Learn shone through with great value for money and glowing student testimonials.

The ICS Learn site is great, especially for maths, with built-in interactive graphs and textbook-style questions which build your skills up gradually.

Each module of the course is laid out in a ‘tree’ like structure which helped me to understand the subjects related to each other.

The order of the content is also extremely helpful to build up skills in the subject and become more confident in your ability to learn.

This course has really opened up possibilities and opportunities that my college didn’t offer and has allowed me to pursue a field that I didn’t initially feel was possible in my situation.

I can also see how this would be immensely useful for other students already studying the subject in college as it could supplement their learning and let them progress their skills at their natural pace.

This is important as some people find certain topics a breeze, whereas others can find it very tiring, especially in maths!
