A Level Student Stories: Marianne Cox | A Level Business

Marianne needed to be able to study flexibly, and so ICS Learn was the best option for her.

I'm Marianne, 19 and a former student of the ICS Learn A-Level Business course.

From 2021-2023 I attended a sixth form college, however while there, I struggled with my mental health a lot. I could hardly bring myself to attend lessons, which lead to me deciding to drop an A-Level at the end of my first year.

This was a hard decision to make as I worried I wouldn’t be able to go to university with only two A-Levels and so I decided that I wasn't going to give up. Upon researching my options,

I found ICS Learn and was pleasantly surprised by the variety of A-Level courses they offered.

I was excited at a new opportunity to achieve my third A-Level from the comfort of my own home, allowing me to focus on improving my mental health at the same time.

Studying A-Level Business with ICS Learn was incredibly flexible which was perfect for me. I was able to spend my gap year travelling and making invaluable memories, all while simultaneously working towards my A-Level.

The ICS Learn platform was easy to navigate and the course was well written. Additionally the assessment resources were very helpful and the personalised tutor feedback was always very fast and informative.

The “ask your tutor” section was particularly good as I could ask specific questions. For example, my tutor was able to provide me with a predicted grade for my UCAS application, which I didn’t expect to be possible!

ICS Learn was accessible from all my devices (phone, tablet, pc) which was another huge benefit for me.

I just received my A-Level results and I am very pleased to have achieved a grade A in my business course. This has given me the amazing opportunity to attend university in September, which I never thought would be possible!
