GCSE Student Stories: Michael Melia | GCSE Maths

Michael wanted to improve the GCSE Mathematics grade he had received in school, so he enrolled on our online course to get the grade he's always wanted.

I found studying with ICS Learn a great experience. Right from the initial simple registration for the course, the resources offered and available during my studies, through to the support provided to get the grade I was aiming for.

The initial introduction from the Tutor helped build a working relationship throughout my study time, Ailie ensured I had everything I needed to get going, and pointed me towards the many resources available on the ICS Learn portal.

The portal was easy no navigate and had everything I could possibly need. I loved the variety of online sessions, e-learning, reading material and past papers that were available to me.

I can honestly say they were all utilised, and all were helpful.

I was worried about completing my studies in time working full-time in a demanding job, but really wanted to improve upon the grade received in GCSE Mathematics when taken at school.

I actually found it very convenient and the flexibility of watching lessons live or as a recorded session really benefited me.

I found Melissa to be very good at explaining each of the topics and would react to comments left by students in the chat box by explaining things in a different way to ensure everyone understood. Although I didn’t need to utilise this support, you also have the ability to connect with other students on the same course.

I would definitely recommend ICS Learn and this style of learning to anyone interested in taking GCSE qualifications. Thank you to all the ICS Learn team, but especially to Ailie for the support and feedback she provided to me, which enabled me to achieve the grade I was aspiring for.
