I have recently completed an MSc in Strength & Conditioning at Teesside University, having already attained a BSc (Hons) in Sport Sciences and the PGCE.

I have been a professional tutor at a further education college for the past 4 years. I teach across a range of sports qualifications such as: sports science, fitness instructing, personal training, exercise referral, level 4 obesity and diabetes, and lower back pain.

I also teach shorter courses such as circuit training, suspension training, kettlebells, studio cycling, PT business skills, and pre & post-natal qualifications.

In addition to this, I also work for a premier league football club as a team leader, having done so for the past four seasons.  This role involves working in an award winning family zone dedicated to children – allowing them to watch the football whilst also completing activities related to the national curriculum.  The same football club also provided me the opportunity to complete an Internship in the Sports Science/Strength & Conditioning department, working with all youth levels and first team athletes, whilst I pursued my MSc.

With both assessing and verifying qualifications, in addition to my professional academic qualifications, I believe I am ideally placed to assist students in their learning experience and respective journeys through the fitness industry.
