You’ll be assessed through two assignments submitted online and one exam.
The Marketing unit is assessed by a multiple-choice exam. You’ll sit your exam online using a proctoring service. This will record your screen and environment to ensure the exam is fair and secure.
In order to sit your proctored exam, you’ll need:
- A desktop computer or laptop (you can’t take the exam on a Chromebook, tablet or smartphone)
- A webcam and microphone (built-in or external)
- Internet speed of at least 2 Mbps
The Integrated Communications and Digital Marketing units are assessed through written assignments completed at home. They'll be based around a set realistic marketing scenario and an organisation of your choice.
Each one will take place during one of the 3 assessment sessions set each year by CIM:
