This advanced qualification in employment law from CIPD will give you the knowledge, skills and confidence to be acknowledged as the principle source of employment law expertise and guidance within your organisation.

Employment law continues to expand in volume and complexity and the introduction of new EU and UK legislation makes it vital to keep abreast of the changes to help your employers avoid costly mistakes. HR professionals can add real value to today's business decisions by being able to anticipate, evaluate and advise key stakeholders about the implications of employment legislation.

The module will provide learners with the key principles that underpin UK employment law, their purpose, the major defences that employers are able to deploy when defending cases, and the potential organisational costs and reputational risks associated with losing them.

To achieve an Advanced Level Award in Human Resources, you need a total of 15 credits. This course is worth 15 credits.
