I am a Fellow of the Association of Chartered Certified Accountants.
After many years of experience in Professional Practice (as Principal) and Industry (Financial Director and Managing Director), I moved into full time teaching in 2008 with a specialist AAT distance learning provider, having previously taught evening classes at the local College of Further Education.
I have taught the full range of AAT courses - particularly specialising in Business and Personal Taxation - and other business qualifications both in a classroom and through distance learning. I have also written and presented courses in the prevention of fraud for the Department of Work & Pensions.
In addition to teaching, I research, write and update AAT Courses and learning material. I feel that my extensive and varied experience allows me to offer constructive feedback to assist students with their courses.
Outside of work, I am a qualified pilot of single-engine fixed-wing aircraft and enjoy fine wine - but not both at the same time.
