Student Stories: Tamas | PRINCE2® Foundation Review

Tamas tells us what it was like to study the PRINCE2® Foundation course online with us during lockdown while he juggles his busy schedule. 

I’m a Regional Trainer for hospitality professionals at Lifetime Training Ltd. During the first couple weeks of the lockdown I was working from home, delivering online lessons for chefs and restaurant managers, but I’ve since been furloughed for the last few weeks.

As someone who is really involved in education, I can't live without learning. So, I decided that I wanted to develop my skills and knowledge and enroled in the PRINCE2® Foundation course with ICS Learn.

As a father of a two-year-old I am pretty much managing projects every day, just in a different capacity.

I’ve been learning how to best manage my study time while juggling daily life, and so my wife and I have made a rota for sharing housework, cooking, and childcare.

I am sure that this course will help me to progress in my current job and give me a new perspective on how to organise my workload and manage my learning portfolio.

I really enjoy the time I have to study because it allows me to learn new things, develop my existing knowledge, and it gives me a lot of self-confidence that I can perform well, even under these special circumstances.

Plus, I just simply need to do something that keeps my brain ticking.

Before I started the course, I researched and compared many providers and training opportunities. I chose ICS Learn because they have very good student ratings, and a lot of useful information available on their homepage.

I had a chat with one of the course advisors who answered my questions, and within 15 minutes I was already enroled.

After being in the course for one week I started exchanging some emails with my tutor who always responds very quickly and my friendly advisor, Ann-Maria, also keeps me up to date.

Online learning is a new experience for me. I never had the time before, but the flexibility of this course will benefit me.

I would highly recommend ICS Learn to anyone who wants to do something useful with their time during the lockdown.
