I needed to improve my GCSE Biology grade after getting a D many years ago at school.
This was so I could apply to a few different universities as a mature student to study dental hygiene. A science subject in a grade C or above was the only thing I required and what I was missing.
I chose ICS Learn as it offered the course I wanted with lots of support available and I was able to do this in my own time around working full time and other commitments.
It was by no means easy to work full time and have other commitments and find the time and motivation to study on evenings and weekends, but there’s lots of tools to help you including a revision planner on the ICS Learn website.
Overall, I enjoyed studying with ICS Learn and I’ve gained knowledge on the course that will stick with me.
There was lots of support available with student forums for peer support and additional support in helping find and book an exam centre that was local to me for my final exams.
I found the progress checks and test papers at the end of modules very helpful as you could apply the knowledge you’ve just learnt and see what areas you need to improve on and get feedback.
I’m so happy to say I achieved a B grade in Biology which is more than I had hoped for and now I am able to apply to university in the next intake.
I would definitely recommend ICS Learn, they were always on hand to speak to if I had any questions and paying monthly instalments really helped me manage my finances instead of having to pay in one lump sum.
