ICS Learn Case Study: Ellis Guilford School | Online CIPD Courses

To take her role as an HR Assistant at Ellis Guilford School to the next level, Maddison Hill began studying a CIPD qualification online with us.

I'm hoping to develop my career within HR and to do so, I realised I would need to start my CIPD qualifications.

I chose ICS Learn because of their great reviews and colleague recommendations.

At first, I did struggle with finding my way around the website but after a few weeks it became second nature. There is a student forum and most of the queries I had, I was able to find from people who are going through the same experience as I am.

My tutor is always on hand to provide guidance and support.

For example, I had previously emailed my tutor in the morning, requesting a call back as soon as possible and she was able to speak to me that afternoon, which I really appreciated.

The site has many resources and information to help with the course. I also find the online chat service useful as I don’t always have time to call so being able to chat online is very convenient.

I have learned so much already from my studies and it’s great that I can use what I am learning to help me in my current role.

It feels good to know that the information I am giving to colleagues is factual and helpful and the course allows me to explore all the areas of HR (some of which I have never come across before) so by the end of the course, I will be knowledgeable in all areas.

The course is already benefiting my organisation because my manager feels she can rely on me to attend meetings and assist with important work.

I would 100% recommend ICS Learn! Everyone is so helpful from the support team to my tutor.

The course is easy to follow, and I am looking forward to completing my studies with ICS Learn.
