CIPS Student Stories: Samantha | CIPS Level 4 Review

Samantha felt her dead-end job was holding her back, so she studied a CIPS Level 4 Diploma in Procurement and Supply to help her career development.

I am currently working as a buyer and have been doing so for a number of years now. I decided to start studying for my CIPS Level 4 with ICS after being in a job that wasn’t really leading anywhere. After putting a lot of effort in developing my CV and applying for several jobs, it became clear that to achieve my career goals in procurement, I had to invest in myself first and get my CIPS qualification.

I chose ICS due to the reviews and am so glad I went for it. I was initially worried about studying online as I felt that I may not get the support I would need to do well on my course, but I needn’t have worried at all!

I get all the material I need to confidently prepare for my exams and any extra help or clarification is given by the ICS student team and also my own personal tutor for my course.

I can genuinely say I enjoy my course and am learning a lot and have even secured a job as a procurement professional at a great company, which I wouldn’t have achieved without having started this course.

I now know that I am well on my way to progressing my career in procurement and am excited for what the future may bring. I would really recommend ICS for anyone looking to undertake their CIPS training, especially if they are keen to complete a qualification online. 

All the learning can be done at home and fits in really well with any other life and work commitments you may have.

They have also been really good catering for us students during lockdown when we had delayed exams, by giving us several months extra, free support to complete our course.

I’m really looking forward to finishing my CIPS Level 4 and wouldn’t hesitate to use ICS again for completing Level 5.
