In search of a career change, Iain decided to take on a CIPD Level 3 qualification to get ahead in a new working landscape. Read more about his story below.
At the start of 2020, I decided that I wanted a career change. I wanted to embark on a journey to give me more skills and develop myself into a career that had been a goal for a long time.
I’m currently a Service Advisor for Arnold Clark, I had thought about Human Resources for a long time and had always wanted to be in that industry.
I decided that I would look to complete the CIPD Level 3 qualification, and after researching different course providers and speaking to numerous people within the industry, I came across ICS Learn.

My initial thoughts around an online course were whether I'd be able to find the time to complete the course and what support I'd receive.

The skills learned from the course has given me the confidence and background knowledge to go for a career within HR. It has given me so much information that I can use in an HR role and different processes that I can follow.
