CIPD Student Stories: Beth Mleczek | CIPD Level 5 Review

Beth Mleczek chose to study her CIPD Level 5 HRM Diploma with us online to earn the qualifications she needs to progress in her HR career. 

I’m currently a HR Team Leader for a steadily growing, family-run farming business, while also studying for my CIPD Level 5 Diploma in Human Resources Management.

I chose this course as I want to develop my career in HR, and it seemed like the next best step for me being that it’s a globally recognised qualification.

The reason I chose ICS Learn to support me through my career development journey is because they allow you to work on your own time, at your own pace, and they provide great resources for students.

Online learning can be daunting when, like me, you’ve been away from education for a while.

I was initially a little sceptical of how it would all work, especially whilst trying to juggle a demanding part-time role and two young children on top of day-to-day life.  

While it isn’t always easy, by being as organised as possible and dedicating myself to set study times, I am slowly but surely getting through the course.

ICS Learn provides answers to any questions you may have as you progress through the course, and their support guides are extremely useful.

There are clear ways to contact your tutors and, in my experience, they are very approachable and happy to help. 

The formative assignments, although not mandatory to complete, provide valuable feedback around the summative assignments as well. It's a value to me to know what I need to focus on most as I learn.

I would definitely recommend studying for the CIPD Level 5 through ICS Learn. They’ve made the course easily accessible and flexible, making it a great fit for my busy lifestyle.

My plan for the future is to work my way up to the HR Manager role within my current company, and then study for the Level 7 CIPD in HRM.
