AAT Student Stories: Ella Brown | AAT Level 2 & 3 Review

Ella took a chance and studied an AAT Level 2 Foundation Certificate and AAT Level 3 Advanced Diploma in Accounting. Here's how she got on. 

I currently work in business admin and I'm training to become an accountant.

I have studied a AAT Level 2 course, and am I currently in the middle of the AAT Level 3. After leaving school I was so unsure on what I wanted to do. I had no ideas of what my dream job consisted of. Luckily, I left school and was straight away given a business admin apprenticeship at a local business close to my home.

I was given the opportunity to go on a level 2 AAT course with ICS Learn through my work place, which I completed this within 9 months, even with the current circumstances this year!

I was never much good at maths at school, so the thought of lots of calculations and financial work scared me at first, but I am so glad I took the chance.

I cannot wait to finish my level 3, start my level 4, and finally start my dream carer in accounting. I definitely think I made the right choice in regards to choosing an online learning course.

I did enquire at my local college for afternoon courses, just to weigh out my options, but an online learning course is amazing, because you can work in your free time, at work or home.

My current goal is to now be a fully qualified accountant by the age of 23! ICS Learn has opened so many doors and job opportunities for me for the future.
