ICS Real Stories: Wesley | CIPD Level 7 Review
In his role as a Human Resources & Operations Manager, Wesley encountered employment law issues. He studied a CIPD course to tackle these with confidence.
I am a Human Resources and Operations Manager with 1 year of experience working in a recruitment business. I started with ICS Learn by doing the CIPD Level 7 Award in Employment Law when we had some employment law related issues with a former employee.
I thought that it might be a good idea to familiarise myself with some knowledge in employment law and, eventually, I got a merit in CIPD Level 7 Award in Employment Law.
To be frank, at the beginning I was a bit hesitant to undergo online modules which were not provided by the CIPD itself, as I had some really bad experience with some online training providers in the past.
However, now I am happy that I have chosen ICS learn to pursue my Level 7 Award in Employment Law. I found the members of staff and tutors from ICS Learn are highly responsive, professional, and committed to their students.
I want to give a big thanks to my online personal tutor Kathy Daniel, she has supported me greatly and always come back to me with constructive feedback.
It is fairly easy to arrange a time for phone calls to discuss matters related to the modules.
Additionally, she has also given me a lot of advice regarding what should I do next which would be beneficial for pursuing my career in human resource management.
All units within the module were very informative, well-written, and well-delivered due to Tutor's experience and knowledge in Human Resources and Employment Law.
Recently I have enrolled for the full CIPD Level 7 Diploma and completed the first module (talent management).
I was told yesterday that my assignment has been graded merit and I can’t wait to start the next module.
