Aspiring teacher Kate Kindlen reviews her journey to passing GCSE Maths with our online course.
I have finally managed to gain my Maths GCSE qualification at the ripe old age of 37!
I wanted to make sure I took the time to write this to encourage anyone who is even remotely thinking about doing it to go ahead and sign up to ICS Learn.
The support I have received whilst undertaking my Maths GCSE has been second to none.
My queries were always answered in a timely fashion and nothing was too much trouble.
Melissa even rang me one day to talk through different examination options.
I really struggled when I was younger with Maths and I got a G originally when I was 16 and then I got a G again when I re-sat a year later!
I have always struggled with Maths in all honesty. I have always wanted to be a primary school teacher but have never been able to undertake the training to be one as my Maths GCSE was holding me back.
I was a bit wary of doing an online course at first as I didn’t know whether I’d be able to fully commit as I work part time and I am a Wife and a Mother to two small boys, but the reminders you get to your email address are a godsend and the recordings of lessons are amazing. You can pause and rewind and watch as often as you want.
I found making a timetable of the lessons extremely useful and also helped to keep me on track.
I can now apply for my teaching safe in the knowledge I have my C!
You will need to commit to the course, it won’t magically do it for you but the support and guidance is there right from the start with ICS Learn.
Get enrolling today and good luck!
