ICS Learn Case Study: JCK Ltd | Online CIPD Courses

Charlotte Smith found that her work as a Business Manager required HR knowledge. She studied our CIPD Level 3 qualification to enhance her understanding of the function.  

My name is Charlotte Smith and I am currently working for JCK Ltd as a Business Manager, my role includes providing advice and I am involved with the business HR activities.

I looked into various training bodies and courses when I was looking to undertake studies to achieve a professional HR qualification.

I was drawn to the CIPD membership and therefore, I chose to study with ICS Learn, as ultimately, I was looking for a professional mode of study with a recognised training body.

I enjoyed the flexibility of the online studies as this suited my busy working week and allowed me to adapt my studies around my working hours and busy schedule. 

The online tutor support was invaluable, very helpful and in my experience, it was always available when I needed it day or night, either by e-mail or telephone conversation. 

My studies to attain the CIPD Associate membership status have assisted me with improving my competence in my support role within the business for the Directors and Managers.

As a direct result, I have introduced additional HR activities including developing a robust training process which was approved by the Directors to support the company Talent Planning strategy. 

The studies have developed my HR awareness and made me more competent in my HR advisory role to the business going forward.

As a company, we are continually looking to improve which involves reviewing the business objectives against our results and I have recommended and introduced changes to the company HR process. This includes improvements to employee engagement and appraisal process which benefits all our employees.

ICS Learn has been a great training provider for me personally and professionally and I would not hesitate to highly recommend them.

I will most definitely be looking to undertake further studies with the ICS learn in the future.
