Course Overview
Introduces how different retailers operate within a specified territory, the IT systems they adopt, and how legislation affects the retail operation. Master the basics, including techniques to merchandise, display and promote products most effectively to increase sale. Understand the different distribution channels, and stock control and security systems used in retail. Also, you’ll develop skills in managing customer services, as well as staff.
Pre-requisites
You must be aged over 16 and have at least GCSE standard D-G or hold an NVQ at level 1, or a GNVQ Foundation Certificate in a relevant area to access this course.
