Course Overview
This course will equip you with the key skills to become a Trainee Heating Engineer. Study health and safety considerations. Examine the many mechanical, electrical and electronic components that are found in refrigeration, heating and air conditioning systems. Learn how to maintain systems, and how to diagnose and correct problems when they occur. Acquire the skills to use special tools and test equipment. Furthermore, discover how to install new systems.
Pre-requisites
You must be over 16 to take this course. You must also be educated to at least GCSE standard D-G or hold an NVQ at level 1, or a GNVQ Foundation Certificate.
