Course Overview
Explore essential health and safety considerations for both new building and the upkeep of old buildings. Discover modern technologies used in construction. Investigate the process of designing new buildings. Gain essential skills in measuring, tendering and estimating. Study the equipment and methods used in surveying, as well as the surveyor’s responsibilities.
Pre-requisites
You must be over 16 to take this course. You must also be educated to at least GCSE standard D-G or hold an NVQ at level 1, or a GNVQ Foundation Certificate.
