    • Examine statistics relating to the population of the UK, as well as some international statistics, and consider how social trends can affect these statistics. Consider the likely effects that social trends will have on both customers and employees.
  • Globalisation and Regulation
    • Consider the impact of globalisation on organisations, and examine global markets and global trade. Study legislation and regulation, as well as their enforcement through the courts and regulatory bodies.

    • Consider the role of the government and why government intervention is necessary. Examine the impact of economic, social and education policy on organisations.

    • Examine the different approaches to strategy making, as well as the tools and techniques that are used in the process of devising a strategy.
