Fitness trainer''s outdoor idea puts her on award shortlist
11 Mar 2010
Anne Crook is completely different to other personal trainers as she conducts her fitness courses outside.
A fitness trainer has been shortlisted for a national award after developing the idea to carry out regular fitness classes outdoors.
According to the South Manchester Reporter, Anne Crook launched her Fit Women concept last July and is regularly seen conducting lessons in a variety of different weather conditions.
The mother of two began by passing her fitness qualifications and then progressed to being a child''s fitness coach before coming up with her present idea.
She will now discover at Aston Villa Football Club next month whether she has scooped top prize in the National Women on Their Way 2010 Start Up category.
Mrs Crook told the publication that those who participate in her fitness courses have no problem completing their routines during the colder evenings.
She said: "Everyone leaves feeling energised and in great spirits. Once we''ve warmed up nobody feels the cold."
The Women on Their Way event is taking place on March 19th, with 300 guests arriving in the English Premier League club''s Holte Suite to witness the winner.
