Subject Matter Expert - ICS Diploma in Child Day care

  • Job Description:

    ICS are currently recruiting for an experienced Subject Matter Expert to review and further develop this existing distance learning course. The SME will be required to critically review the current programme of study, edit existing content and write additional material as necessary. This will include course content, learning activities, reading resources and assessment materials.

    They will additionally be expected to design online course elements which will be integrated into the programme to enhance the learning experience.

    Skills

    * Subject specialist in Child Day Care with a number of year's experience of teaching their subject, and some experience as a published author

    * Well-organised with the ability to prioritise and meet agreed deadlines. Experience of distance learning is desirable.

    * Excellent IT and word-processing skills are essential

    * Experience in developing courses for an online environment is advantageous

    * Ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding targets and work to deadlines.
