    ICS are currently recruiting for an experienced Subject Matter Expert Editor to assist in the development of this new course.

    The editor will be required to review the content of this newly authored course, including learning materials, activities and assessments. This course has been fully developed to NOCN and QCF specifications therefore experience of writing and editing to specification is desirable.

    Skills

    * The editor should be a subject specialist in the field of fashion - both in design and production techniques and commercial industry operations

    * A number of years' experience of teaching in this area will be advantageous, as will related authored publications

    * The editor will be well-organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet agreed deadlines. Experience of distance learning will be advantageous

    * Excellent IT and word-processing skills are essential

    * Experience in developing courses for an online environment is advantageous

    * Ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding targets and work to deadlines.

We are seeking to expand our team of current professionals working to develop distance learning materials. The role will be to edit and develop material for an NOCN accredited Level 1 Award in Making it in Fashion (QCF).
