With 25,000 new students enrolling each year and over 150 products, our authoring and editing freelance team has a crucial role in ensuring our customers receive a high quality product, designed and delivered to industry and regulatory standards, utilising appropriate pedagogy.

ICS are currently recruiting for experienced freelance authors and subject matter expert editors to assist in the development of HND level Hospitality Management units.

Authors will additionally be expected to design practical course elements which will be integrated into each programme to enhance the learning experience.

Skills

* Authors/Editors must be subject specialists with a number of year's experience of teaching their subject.

* Experience as a published writer is essential.

* Authors/Editors will be well-organised, with the ability to prioritise and meet agreed      deadlines.

* Excellent IT and word-processing skills are essential.

* Experience in developing courses for an online environment is advantageous.

* Ability to work under pressure and to meet demanding targets and work to                deadlines.
