Train as a Plumber With an ICS Distance Learning Plumbing Course

Want to train as a plumber, but you don't know much about it, and are unable to study full-time? No problem - if you are new to plumbing you'll find our distance learning plumbing course ideal. With distance learning, you'll cut out about 250 hours of classroom study, meaning you can gain a plumbing qualification without affecting your home or work life.

On successful completion of the course you will be awarded an ICS Diploma in Plumbing and you'll have the knowledge and skills ready for the City and Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate.

The ICS UK Distance Learning plumbing course will introduce you to the following key topics:

  • Health and Safety
  • Common Plumbing Processes
  • Key Plumbing Principles
  • Cold and Hot Water Systems and Components
  • Central Heating Systems
  • Electricity
  • Environmental Awareness
  • Effective Working Relationships

You DON'T need to have any qualifications to take this plumbing course. However, we do recommend you have 4 GCSEs graded D or above. These are also available to study through distance learning from ICS.
