With a shortage of trained plumbers, demand has never been higher. And whether you want to get into the trade, or you're already a plumber and want a formal qualification, the ICS Plumbing course is a great way to get the skills you need.

The Daily Telegraph recently reported that female graduates are giving up their desk jobs to train as plumbers and challenging the "bloke-ish image" of the trade. Course Overview

This course gives you an in-depth understanding of everything from common plumbing problems to hot and cold water systems. After completing the course, your ICS Diploma in Plumbing could take you on to the City and Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate.

Pre-requisites

The great news is that you don't need any previous qualifications to take this course. We would however recommend you have 4 GCSEs of standard D or above – also available from ICS.

Assessment

This course includes a number of multiple choice test papers that you complete as part of your coursework. These can either be completed online or forwarded to ICS for grading.

If you want to go on to achieve the City and Guilds Level 2 Technical Certificate, you need to sit the practical training and assessment at a centre recommended by ICS.
