Key frame animation
Describe the basic principles of key frame animation and the difference between Auto Key and Set Key methods.
Animate the train wheels and bell created in section 2 using key framing.
Use the dope sheet, track view and curve editor to modify animations.
Create parent-child relationships between objects and apply to the wheel and pistons to improve the animation.
Clone, move, edit and delete keys.
Apply different animation controllers to create particular effects.
Use ‘Constraints’ including constraining motion around a path and the ‘Look at’ constraint to create a realistic model train scene.
Use a dummy object to generate motion.
Animate a modifier applied to a simple set of primitives. Including: Bend, Taper, Twist.
