Support

As an ICS student you will have your own personal tutor helping you with your course work and with any questions you may have. Plus you can contact our Student Advisors by email or phone for all the practical advice you may need – so we really are with you 100%.

What's more, you'll have access to the ICS online Student Community, where you can interact with other students, browse our resource library and manage your account.

Assessment

This course includes a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and then forward to your tutor via email or post. You'll also be required to attend the last 3-days of an existing face to face Gym instructor course delivered by YMCAfit. These three days are predominantly practical, giving you the opportunity to teach in small workshops and receive feedback from the tutors. On completion of the 3 days you will then need to attend the final assessment day. You will be required to bring one helper for your practical assessment.

Please note that fees for YMCAfit practical training and assessment are addtional to course fees.

What our Students Say

"The course materials were very easy to work through and clearly set out.Whenever I needed to speak to someone at ICS, I received good information and all the support I needed throughout my course. I would definitely recommend ICS – in fact I already have and I hope to take another course in the near future."
