Course Overview
If you want to work with young children, the CACHE Foundation Award in Caring for Children (CFCC) is an excellent introduction. This course supports the government's requirements for Practical Parenting Skills as well as aspects of citizenship. So you’ll cover everything from nutrition to play as part of a child’s development. In fact you’ll learn all the basic principles involved in caring for and working with young children.
CACHE, the Council for Awards in Children’s Care and Education, is the leading awarding body in this field - and the CFCC gives you the confidence and knowledge to work in the Early Years sector. Their awards are highly regarded in this sector and sit on the National Qualifications Framework (NQF). Visit www.cache.org.uk for further information.
