With increasing legislation, monitoring and assessment of the caring professions, having the right skills and qualifications is becoming essential. Our courses are designed to help you develop the knowledge and skills required – and to give you nationally-recognised qualifications to prove it.
Why home learning makes so much sense
When you study with ICS, you enjoy all the benefits of our flexible learning techniques. Not only can you learn anywhere you like, you also have the freedom to study when it suits you: so for example, if you have family or work commitments, studying in the evening may work best for you.
Each course is a series of modules, which you work through at the pace that suits you best. Because everyone learns at different speeds, an ICS course lets you study as quickly or slowly as you want – there are no fixed starting dates and no timetables either.
You work on assignments, which you send to your personal tutor for assessment and advice via email or post. And you only progress from one module to the next when you’ve completed the previous one. It’s a tried-and-tested learning method that means you’ll always be confident about what you learn.
As an ICS student, you also have automatic access to our online student community, giving you access to help and support from your fellow students.
