Education psychology - home study psychology of education

The psychology of education looks at how psychological theory has influenced our understanding of learning.  You will examine what education psychology is and how psychological principles apply to methods of instruction.  It requires an understanding of education in practice, psychology and how the two relate.

Education in practice and psychology

How do education in practice, psychology and other aspects of learning connect to each other?  When looking at the psychology of education we must consider topics such as how people learn differently, methods and practices and barriers to learning.  These might include bullying, dyslexia and other conditions covered in this education psychology module.

Education psychology examines theories of learning, development and motivation.  Education in practice and psychology will be looked at to see how theory is applied and how successful or otherwise it is.  The psychology of education module requires you to build on the knowledge and skills you have already learned during this degree course.
