Community Development, Politics, Policy and Practice
This module examines the principles of community development, as well as looking at the practices of work in the community. So, from studying the different theoretical models of community education, organisations and groups, you’ll evaluate the effectiveness of the various development agencies, NGO’s and voluntary organisations. In this way, you’ll gain a deeper awareness of current values in community development.

Assessment
There are a number of formative assessments that you complete as part of your study and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.
You’ll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module that determines your final mark.

Exam venues are located across the UK and exams take place in April and November.
