Statistics in Psychological Research
This module will allow you to develop the core statistical skills required for carrying out and understanding psychological research. The key topics covered include hypothesis testing, probability, significance testing, confidence intervals and effect sizes, experimental design, inferential statistical techniques, as well as correlation and measures of association. On completion of the module, you'll be able to do everything from drawing on the principles of experimental design when discussing research studies, to analysing data using a number of different tests.

Assessment
There are a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.
You'll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module. Exam venues are located across the UK and exams take place twice a year. Please note that there are additional assessment fees for each module.
