Home Study LLB Degree Law Course: Tort Law

The home study LLB degree law course is made up of eighteen modules, including the Tort Law module.

Tort Law 

How can you determine who's at fault in specific situations? Who should take responsibility when something goes wrong or someone is injured? These are areas that fall within the law of tort, and this module is designed to provide you with a thorough understanding of this complex field. As part of your studies, you'll look at concepts such as duty of care, breach of duty, causation and remoteness of damage, as well as remedies. The module also examines specific subjects such as defamation, trespass and nuisance.

Assessment

There are a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.

You'll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module. Exam venues are located across the UK and exams take place twice a year. Please note that there are additional assessment fees for each module.
