Public International Law 

What is the role of law in regulating international society? This is the question you'll investigate in this module. You'll examine various theories of International Law, including policy-orientated, new stream and postcolonial theories. In addition, you'll look at the work of bodies such as the United Nations and International Court of Justice, as well as vitally important issues like the self-determination of peoples, human rights and democratic governance.

Assessment

There are a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.

You'll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module. Exam venues are located across the UK and exams take place twice a year. Please note that there are additional assessment fees for each module.
