Youth Justice

How  effectively does the system deal with youth crime?  This module looks at youth offending and the contemporary youth justice system – from the perspectives of social science, politics and the criminal justice process.  You’ll examine explanations for offending by children and young people within changing politics of ‘juvenile justice’ – looking at both the similarities to, and differences from, the adult system.
