Terrorism Studies

Looking at a topic of crucial importance in today’s world, this module examines terrorism from a criminological standpoint – looking at key debates surrounding the definition of terror.  As part of your studies, theoretical debates are outlined and applied to different modes of terrorist activity. Finally, the module is concerned with responses to terrorist activity including political, legislative and enforcement-based counter-terrorist strategies.
