Crime, Deviance and Culture
This module aims to advance your knowledge of the sociology of crime and deviance, taking you to the edge of postgraduate level. It will outline key areas of debate concerning the cultural character of crime and deviance, and introduce you to the theory of social censures and the critique of the sociology of deviance. You'll also examine and evaluate control theories in contemporary criminology.

Assessment
There are a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.
You'll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module. Exam venues are located across the UK and exams take place twice a year. Please note that there are additional assessment fees for each module.
