Community-based crime prevention

This module examines the approaches and effectiveness of community-based crime minimisation, such as Community Safety partnerships.  It will introduce you to the techniques used in environmental crime prevention, looking at the roles and responsibilities of different public bodies and agencies. You’ll also develop your skills in practice evaluation and debate, by critically examining the theoretical and evidential basis for community-based approaches.
