The Intellectual Property module is part of the distance learning BA (Hons) Business Management and Law course.

The distance learning BA (Hons) Business Management and Law course allows you to study for a business degree through convenient and cost-effective home study. Intellectual Property

In today's world, where copyright, patenting and trade mark issues are crucial to business success, the area of intellectual property (IP) is becoming increasingly important. As well as examining the fundamental nature of IP, the module considers the principles and interests involved in its protection. As part of the module you'll look at the nature of intellectual property, the justification for its protection and current issues such as copyright protection in the digital world.

Assessment

There are a number of assessments that you complete as part of your coursework and forward to your academic tutor for grading and comments.

You'll also take a summative assessment at the end of your module. Exam venues are located across the UK and exams take place twice a year. Please note that there are additional assessment fees for each module.
