Studying Business Management is about understanding organisations and how they are managed. It involves looking at how they respond to change – both internally, and in the external environment in which they operate. It's a very broad subject – covering everything from finance and HR to marketing.
Applying the Law to Business
Studying a Business Management and Law degree gives you an insight into the importance and role of law in a business context – as well as giving you an in-depth understanding of the principles of business management.

Course Structure
In order to gain a Honours degree, you must successfully complete eighteen modules, including your final project. Each module is worth 20 credits and there are 120 credits at each level. However, if you decide to graduate early, you can choose from the following awards:
>An Ordinary degree with 300 credits
>A Diploma of Higher Education with 240 credits
>A Certificate of Higher Education with 120 credits
Some modules can also be studied individually as part of your own personal development – and there are a great range of topics to choose from.
As you'll see below, there are some optional modules in this programme. However you must choose 6 modules for each level – or five in Level 3 if the Law Project option is chosen, as it is equivalent to 2 modules.
It is crucial that, in order to successfully complete the Law modules of this programme, you have adequate access to a Law Library that contains English Law.
In order to develop your skills even further, there will be two 2-day workshops held throughout your course for certain modules. Please note that workshop fees are additional.
