Violence in Everyday Life

Examining areas like domestic violence and sexual abuse, this module develops your understanding of power and powerlessness in everyday life. Providing you with invaluable insights into violence, the many forms it takes, and the different people who experience it, this module also looks at how legal codes indicate rights and responsibilities in this area. As part of this, you’ll examine the concept of rights and the Human Rights Act 1998, as well as the European Convention of Human Rights.

Assessment
